Unity
A young girl becomes lost in the woods, rain pouring down to drench her spirit. "Where am I?" she asks. "Who am I"? A voice whispers through the trees. She can't understand although she thinks she sees a face in the trees. Then another. And another. They are all speaking, although she can't make out the words. Darkness overcomes her and she sleeps on a bed of moss under the largest of the trees. When she awakes she is inside the tree and the faces are there with her, and they are her own, looking back at her, speaking her name. Again she sleeps, for what seems like years. A warmth envelopes her, and as she opens her eyes she squints at the brightness reflecting off of the water. Across the lake and all around her are the faces, each speaking a different language. And although she doesn't understand them she knows they are her own, calling her home.
